AIO Downloader changelog
Every released version of AIO Downloader, newest first. Current version: v1.7.0
Updates from the panel, yt-dlp built in, ads that are not blocked, cron that always runs
AIO Downloader 1.7.0 — new versions install from the admin panel with one button, a backup first and a way back; yt-dlp is installed and kept new by the script; ad blockers no longer hide the ads of the site; and the scheduled tasks run with the php of every hosting panel, or without any cron job at all.
- Added Updates from the admin panel (Admin → Updates): the running version and the newest one side by side, what changed, and one button. It fetches the release, checks it against its checksum, backs up the whole database and every file of the script, puts the new files in place, updates the database and asks the site for its home page
- Added Backups with a way back: every backup can be put back from the same page, the files only (settings and members stay) or the files and the database. The files an update added are removed, the ones it replaced come back. "Back up now" takes one at any time; backups can be downloaded
- Security A site that answers with an error after an update is put back by itself. When the panel itself does not open, rollback.php with the rescue key of the backup puts it back; an update never replaces that file before the new version has shown that it runs
- Added Automatic updates: the cron job installs a new version by itself, a backup first, and writes to the admin how it went. A watchdog counts the runs that began with the new files; three that began and none that got through put the backup back
- Added Install from a ZIP file: the update ZIP can be chosen on the Updates page, and the same backup, check and way back apply
- Added yt-dlp built in (Admin → yt-dlp): one button, or the cron job, fetches the official release for the server, checks it against the published checksums, runs it once and takes it into use; a newer release replaces it only after it ran. The page holds a step-by-step guide for the terminal, the File Manager and a VPS
- Added yt-dlp on servers that cannot run the stand-alone program: the small Python edition is tried by itself. A JavaScript runtime for YouTube is found by itself (Deno, Node 20 and newer) or installed with one button
- Fixed The cron job did nothing on many hosting panels: their "php" is the CGI build, which the script took for a visitor without a key and answered "403 Forbidden". cron.php now knows a command line from a request, with every build of PHP
- Added System check shows the cron line with the full path of the right php and has a button that tries it; "php cron.php --check" does the same in a terminal. A php that is too old says so, and hands the work to the right one when the site has found it
- Added A heartbeat for hosts without cron: when no cron job arrived for 25 minutes, the pages people open keep the scheduled tasks going in the background, at most once in ten minutes
- Fixed Every ad blocker hid the ads of the site: the boxes around the ad positions were named "ad-slot" and "ad-header". They now carry names that mean nothing and change every day, so an ad that is your own HTML is not hidden any more
- Added A backup ad for the code of an ad network (which a blocker stops on its way): it takes the place of the ad that did not arrive. The visitor can also be asked to allow ads, with a note that can be closed or one that covers the page
- Added Settings → Advertising says for each position what it holds and what a blocker can do to it, and warns about names in your own HTML that blockers look for. Six demo ads (plain HTML, no outside file) fill a new installation and go into empty positions with one button
- Improved The database follows new files by itself with the next page view: pages that came with an update open at once, before anybody opens the admin panel
- Improved yt-dlp Bridge 1.2.0 runs the yt-dlp the script installed; What's New 1.5.0 tells your visitors about this version
Playlists, Shorts and Reels in view, tools, requests, reviews and an API for members
AIO Downloader 1.5.0 — whole YouTube playlists on one page, the home page says that Shorts, Reels and Stories work, every link of AIOVideo and of AIO Video sites is read, MyMeetBook joins the list. The logo changes with light and dark. Members get their own API keys. Three new plugins: Tools with "Merge video and audio", Platform Requests with likes, and Reviews.
- Added YouTube playlists: the link of a playlist opens a page with all its videos. Each has its own download button; tick the ones you want, choose the size (or "Audio only") and "Download selected" takes them one after the other. Who may open a playlist (everyone, members, nobody), how many videos are listed and how many a guest gets are settings. A video that sits in a playlist shows a link to the whole list
- Added Highlights on the home page: "Shorts, Reels, Stories and playlists work too" with YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels and Stories and more. Every platform says what it is read for, on its tile and on its landing page. New landing pages: YouTube Shorts, YouTube Playlist, Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels
- Fixed AIOVideo: the short links of aiovideo.com (/v/…) did not work, because a short link names a code and not the video. The site is now asked where the link leads
- Added AIO Video script: every link of a site that runs the script works: /watch/…, /s/… (short links), Shorts, embed, and the PlayTube style. The domains of such sites are listed under Settings → Downloads, and a site that is not listed is recognised from its page by itself
- Added A new platform: MyMeetBook (videos, reels, pictures and sound files of public posts): 62 in all
- Added A logo for the light and one for the dark mode, for the header and for the footer: the logo changes together with the page. A theme with a dark footer shows the dark-mode logo there by itself
- Added Developer API for members: members make their own API keys under Account → API, within the limits you set (keys per member, requests per minute and per day). New requests: /api/v1/info, /api/v1/playlist and /api/v1/me. A page for developers describes everything, with examples in cURL, PHP, JavaScript and Python
- Added Plugin "Tools": a page per tool and a list of them. "Merge video and audio" joins a video file and an audio file in the browser of the visitor (ffmpeg.wasm): nothing is uploaded. For everyone or for members
- Added Plugin "Platform Requests": visitors and members ask for a platform on a public page; everybody can like a request and take the like back, and the most wanted stands first. Planned / Added / Declined, your note under a request, optional approval
- Added Plugin "Reviews": one to five stars and a few words, a page with the average and the spread, a block on the home page, approval and answers of the admin
- Added A guard for public forms without puzzles: a hidden field, a signed task, the time a person needs, and a little work the browser does
- Improved What's New 1.3.0: five entries about 1.5.0 for your visitors, in English and Bengali
- Note Version 1.6.0 - October 10, 2026
- Note New
- Note Private videos from YouTube and Facebook
- Note A video that only your account can see now downloads too: your own private or unlisted uploads, friends-only Facebook videos, age-gated and members-only videos. Switch on Private video under the download box and paste the cookies of your browser (a cookies.txt, the JSON of a cookie extension or the Cookie line). They are used for that one download and are never stored.
- Note Improved
- Note What a free account gives you
- Note Downloading stays free without an account. A free account adds more: private videos, whole playlists, every resolution, no waiting and a history of your downloads, depending on what this site offers. The new page Free account shows it side by side: without an account and with one.
A way round a blocked server, notifications for the admin, and a logo that fits
AIO Downloader 1.4.0 — YouTube keeps working when it turns the server away: the site moves to another route by itself, through your proxies or free ones it finds. The admin panel tells you what happens with a bell and red numbers, shows your logo and icon, and three more platforms join.
- Added Routes: a platform that turns the server away (YouTube: "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot", or files that stop after the first minute) is asked again through another route. The one that worked last comes first, one that is refused rests, and a result remembers its route so the download leaves from the same address as the fetch
- Added Proxy pool (Downloads → Proxies → Proxy pool): how every platform is reached right now, "never / when the server is refused / always" per platform, checks of every proxy against a real YouTube video with its speed, a list of proxies to paste, settings
- Added Free proxy finder: reads public lists, tests every address against YouTube, keeps the ones that pass and replaces dead ones; switched on with one click, continued by cron
- Added Other addresses of the server as routes: the other family (IPv4/IPv6) is tried by itself, a second address or an IPv6 block can be added, and a file link is asked for from the very address it was made for
- Added Rotating gateways with sessions: {session} in the user name keeps one exit address per fetched link
- Improved "Test a link" shows what was tried: every route, every YouTube client and what it answered; it can pretend that the server is refused, to try the pool before it is needed
- Added Notifications in the admin panel: a bell with a red count that rings for something new, red numbers in the menu, a Notifications page. New users, messages, a platform that refuses the server, proxies, a cron job that stopped, the licence, errors in the log, sign-ins from a new address
- Added Settings → Logo & icons: a logo for the header and one for the footer, a height for each and for the admin panel with a live preview; the admin panel and its sign-in page show the logo and the icon
- Added Language in the address (Settings → General): every language with its code (as before), only the other languages (/blog and /bn/blog), or never (the choice is kept in a cookie). Old addresses are redirected
- Fixed Blog posts always showed 0 readers to a signed-in admin, and a page served from a cache was never counted: the page now reports its reader itself and shows the new number at once
- Added Three more platforms: Tenor (GIFs as MP4, WebM, GIF, WebP), Kick (clips) and Mixkit (free stock videos, music, sound effects): 61 in all
- Added A "New" badge on platforms that arrived lately, on the home page and the landing pages, for a month; Platforms has a switch per platform
- Improved What's New 1.2.0: the page lists the newly supported sites at its top and writes an entry by itself when you add a platform module
- Improved Playlists that name parts of larger files (#EXT-X-BYTERANGE) are downloaded correctly
Fast, resumable downloads again, member accounts and a blog to start with
AIO Downloader 1.3.0 — YouTube downloads work again and are fast, any download can be continued, visitors can create accounts with features of their own, and the blog starts with twelve articles.
- Fixed YouTube downloads stopped after the first megabytes: YouTube now refuses everything after the first minute of a file to the clients the script used. It reads YouTube through a client that gets whole files, and checks that before it offers a download
- Improved Download speed: a file is read in pieces, several at a time (Settings → Downloads). One long request to YouTube arrives at about the speed the video plays; in pieces it arrives at the speed of the line
- Added Downloads resume: every YouTube file, and HD files joined with their sound, answer requests for a part. A browser continues a broken download, IDM shows "Resume capability: Yes" and fetches parts at once
- Fixed "Audio only" of a dubbed YouTube track answered "The file could not be downloaded from the source"
- Added YouTube audio languages can be switched off, or kept for members or for members with a confirmed e-mail address
- Added Member accounts: sign-up, sign-in, e-mail confirmation with a link and a six-digit code, password reset, "Keep me signed in"
- Added A dashboard for members: download history with "Get it again", profile with picture and language, password, the devices the account is open on, delete account
- Added Users in the admin panel: search, filters, suspend, confirm an e-mail by hand, new password, notes, the latest downloads of a user, CSV export
- Added Settings → Users: open or close sign-up, e-mail confirmation, accounts per IP address, blocked e-mail providers, and what members get (audio languages, sizes above a limit, no countdown, no advertising, an own daily limit)
- Added Twelve blog articles in English and Bengali with cover pictures, five categories and twenty-one tags, added once by the update
- Added Blog posts show how often they were read (a visitor counts once, search engines and the admin not at all), the reading time and an "In this article" list
- Improved SEO of the blog: BlogPosting, FAQ and breadcrumb data, article dates, hreflang only for the languages a post is written in, a canonical address for the others, a leaner sitemap
- Improved A link that was handed out keeps working after its hour: the result is refreshed in place and every format keeps its position
- Fixed The parts a download manager asks for are no longer counted as separate downloads against the daily limit
- Improved What's New 1.1.0: an update of the script adds the news of its version by itself
ALL IN ONE DOWNLOADER: a new name, dubbed audio, ten more sites, a contact form and a new editor
AIO Downloader 1.2.0 — the script takes its full name, YouTube videos download in their dubbed languages, ten platforms join, and the admin panel gains a contact inbox, a What's new page, e-mail and an editor of its own.
- Changed The script is now called AIO Downloader - ALL IN ONE DOWNLOADER: pictures, sound and documents are joining the videos. Keys of 1.0 and 1.1 keep working
- Added YouTube audio tracks: a video that is dubbed or auto-dubbed can be saved in any of its languages, as video with sound or as audio
- Fixed YouTube videos with several audio tracks were joined with the first track in the list (often Arabic) instead of the original
- Added Ten more platforms: Internet Archive, Wikimedia Commons, Bluesky, Giphy, Coub, Wistia, PeerTube, Rutube, Odysee and DeviantArt
- Added AmarURL (amarurl.com) as a URL shortener for download links, with a "make a test link" button
- Added Contact Form plugin: a form on the Contact page, an inbox, replies by e-mail, admin notices and a nine-layer spam wall without puzzles
- Added What's New plugin: a public page of new features, written in the admin panel in every language
- Added E-mail settings: PHP mail() or SMTP with TLS/SSL, and a test message
- Added A new editor for pages, posts and entries: pictures with captions, a media library, videos, tables, code blocks, notes, buttons, HTML view, full screen
- Added Admin login link on the site; once signed in, the header shows your name with Dashboard, Profile and Sign out
- Added App Builder 1.1.0: ten loading screens with a live preview, the logo alone on the launch screen (no box), a "More" menu with your own links and the admin login
- Improved The Default theme was redrawn in the same colours: curved hero, download console, searchable platforms, step track, feature mosaic, dark footer
- Improved The admin menu keeps its place from page to page and always shows the page you are on
- Fixed File sizes that were whole numbers lost their zeros ("100 B" was shown as "1 B")
Licensing, modules, Bengali, the Nova theme and the App Builder
AIO Downloader 1.1.0 — licensed by the License Center, platforms as modules, a second design, Bengali everywhere and an app of your own.
- Fixed /admin answered "403 Forbidden" on Apache and LiteSpeed because a real admin folder stood in the way: the admin code moved under app/ and folders are no longer let through
- Fixed Signing in through /admin/login.php ended on a 404 page: typed .php addresses are understood and the sign-in always lands inside the panel
- Added Licensing through license.faruk.bd: key in the installer, License screen, twice-daily check with a grace period
- Added The "Designed & Developed by" footer credit comes with the licence (Footer & branding)
- Changed Supported platforms are now modules (modules/), new features are plugins (plugins/): two folders, two admin screens, zip upload for both
- Added Plugins can add their own pages, admin screens, settings and translations

- Added Bengali: every text of the site, all 48 landing pages and the five information pages
- Added App Builder plugin: installable web app, Android and iOS projects, share a link from any app into the downloader
- Improved The admin panel and every theme fit a phone: scrolling tab strips, tables that scroll inside their card, stacked headers
