Commission & Referral Addons

Almost every hearing centre pays somebody for the patient who walked in: the ENT who wrote the referral, the assistant who arranged the appointment, the hospital that sends its audiology work out. That money is real, it is owed every month, and it usually lives in a notebook — which is why the commonest argument a centre has with a referring doctor is about what a month actually came to.

One account per referrer, not one report per month. Their page shows every case, what each one earned, what has been paid and what is still owed. A month is a filter on that account rather than a separate thing, so "what about March" is one click and not a re-run.

Every case is one line: the date, the patient, what was sold or done, the sale amount, the rate and the commission. The rate comes from what you agreed with that referrer and can be typed over on any single case — because a figure gets rounded, waived once, or agreed differently, and the system should record what happened rather than argue with it.

The sheet is what they are actually handed. So the design is yours: the title, your logo, your address, the note underneath, the two signature lines and the footer. Whether the patients are named at all is a tick on the sheet itself — some centres will not put a patient's name on a document that goes to an outside doctor, and that decision belongs where the sheet is printed.

Paying settles the cases. Record a payout for a period and every case still owing inside it is marked paid, so the same money is never owed twice. Remove the payout and they go back to owing — because a correction should be possible without editing a dozen lines by hand.
