Auto that reaches the size you pay for

• Fixed Auto picks the size the screen allows at once; the browser's rough line estimate no longer holds it at 480p, only a line the browser itself calls 2G or 3G does
• Improved It goes up a size after nine seconds without a stop and eight seconds steady in hand, instead of waiting for twenty seconds of buffer that a browser keeps small on purpose; a stop soon after going up brings it straight back down

Shorts, promoted spots, the audio track of a YouTube video

• Added A Shorts mode: upright, looping, started by the feed, no bar of buttons but a small gear for the menu; players made on demand (AIOPlayer.make) for pages that draw many
• Added An advertisement may wear its own badge and button and play for a set number of seconds - how a promoted video plays as a spot, marked Promoted with Watch now; an advertisement can be stopped when the page moves on
• Added An Audio track row in the menu for a YouTube video dubbed into other languages: the languages with their own names, which plays first, a word to a viewer whose language is among them; the choice is made in YouTube's own player, shown whole for the moment and put back with Done
• Added A filter other plugins use to cap the size Auto picks (and a lower one on phones) and to ask for no preloading

HTML advertisements, a card on pause, VAST in full, Auto that goes up

• Added HTML advertisements before, in, after and over the video, with the same countdown and Skip; scripts inside them run
• Added A card in the middle of the player while the video is paused
• Improved VAST: wrappers are followed, every tracker is told (seen, quarters, complete, skip, click), the file nearest to what a page needs is played
• Added When a VAST tag or a network's code is stopped by a content blocker, the stand-in advertisement plays instead

Starts by itself, and a bar that content blockers leave alone

• Added The watch page starts playing by itself, as on YouTube, with a switch for it: with sound where the browser allows it, silent with "Tap for sound" where it does not; an advertisement due first goes first
• Fixed The bar under an advertisement was hidden by content blockers - in Edge and anywhere else one is switched on - because its class names were on the public filter list
• Added Sizes kept for members show in the quality menu with a lock and what opens them
• Fixed Theatre mode is put back before the player is drawn, not after

Turns that always fill the screen, a bar for advertisements, carrying on where you left

• Fixed Turning the phone on its side filled the screen the first time only: the turn is heard from the screen itself now, and where the browser still refuses the player fills the window
• Added The logo fades away with the controls and comes back with them (switchable)
• Added An advertisement has a bar of its own, as on YouTube: a yellow line that fills, play and pause, sound, the time; Space and M work on it
• Fixed A signed-in member's place in a video is written down - every ten seconds, on pause, at the end and on leaving - and the next visit carries on from it, with a note and Start again
• Improved The first seconds and the last seconds do not count as a place: such a video starts from the beginning

Imported videos in our player

• Added YouTube videos play inside this player through YouTube's API, under our controls, with our advertisements - mid-roll included
• Added Hide where it comes from: YouTube's title, logo, suggestions and end screen stay out of the picture, full screen too (switchable)

Mid-roll ad breaks and cards

• Added Advertisements in the middle of the video, YouTube-style: yellow ticks mark the breaks, the ad plays when the viewer reaches one, then the video goes on
• Added Ad breaks set per video on the upload and edit forms (or "none"), else one every few minutes on videos long enough - the rule is set on the Player Settings page
• Added Cards: at a chosen moment a teaser slides in and points at another video, a playlist, a channel or a web page; the "i" button lists every card; the editor looks the target up by name
• Added Mid-roll and cards can each be switched off for the whole site

Gestures, rotation and the watermark editor

• Added Tap to skip, hold for 2x, swipe up and down for volume and brightness, drag sideways to scrub
