Social Auto Post

On this page

Social Auto Post keeps your social pages alive without anybody sitting at a phone. Every hour (or on any schedule you choose) it takes the next ayah, draws a picture of it in your site's colours and posts it — Arabic, translation, the surah and ayah number and a link back to that ayah on your site — to every account you connect. Once a day it can also send the day's prayer times as a ready-made banner.

It is a premium plugin.

Who it is for

  • Quran and Islamic websites that want a steady, beautiful stream of ayahs on Facebook, Telegram, X and the rest.
  • Mosques that want the day's jamaat times on their page and channel every morning, without typing them.
  • Anyone who wants visitors to come back to the site: every post links to the ayah, with utm_source=social so you can see the visits in your analytics.

Networks

Facebook Page, Instagram (Business or Creator), Telegram channel or group, X (Twitter), Threads, Mastodon, Bluesky, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Discord, and a Webhook for Make, Zapier, n8n or IFTTT — through which you can reach WhatsApp, YouTube community posts, e-mail lists and anything else those services can post to. You can connect several accounts of the same network; each gets every post.

Switching it on

  1. Your licence must include the plugin. If it does not, Admin → Plugins shows Social Auto Post with a lock and the line Needs the Social Auto Post add-on in your licence. Press Unlock to buy it in the store at license.faruk.bd. A plugin bought on its own comes with a key that starts with QCMP-; it is fitted to your site at the next licence check, or add it straight away under Admin → License → Plugin & theme keys.
  2. On Admin → Plugins turn its switch on.
  3. Make sure the cron line is running (see Scheduled jobs). The posts go out from the scheduled jobs Social auto post and Daily prayer-times banner.

The plugin then appears in the admin menu under Plugins with five tabs.

The tabs

Social Auto Post (overview)

Four figures at the top: whether posting is On or Paused and how often, how many accounts are active, the time of the next post (site time) and how many posts went out today. Below them:

  • Next ayah — the picture and the exact text that will be posted, with how a short network such as X will shorten it. Skip moves on to the following ayah; Post now sends this one to every active account at once.
  • Pause automatic posting / Start automatic posting, and the last ayah posted.
  • Recent posts — the last twelve, each with its account, the ayah, when, a view link to the post on the network, and the error if one failed.

Accounts

On the right, pick a network under Connect an account. Each form says exactly where to find what it asks for — a Page ID and a long-lived Page access token for Facebook, a bot token and the channel for Telegram, the four keys for X, a handle and an app password for Bluesky, and so on. Secrets are stored and never shown again; leave a secret field empty when editing to keep the saved one.

The list shows each account with its status (working, error, not tested or off), the last post and how many it has made. Test sends one post (the next ayah) to that account only, without moving the queue on. Turn off keeps the account but stops posting to it.

Instagram and Threads fetch the picture from your website, so they only work on the live domain, not on a test copy on your computer.

Prayer banner

A picture of the day's prayer times — square, story or wide — with the jamaat times from Settings → Prayer times, the Gregorian and Hijri dates, sehri and iftar, sunrise and sunset, your logo, the site address and a QR code that opens the timetable. The QR code is drawn on your own server; no outside service is asked.

  • Send the day's prayer times every day and Send it at (an hour, site time) decide when it goes out — separately from the ayah posts, once a day.
  • Shape, Language of the banner, Mosque or site name, Under the name and A line at the bottom (for example the Jumu‘ah khutbah time).
  • How it looks: a colour theme, accent and lettering colours, two background colours, an optional background picture with a veil over it, the star lattice and the logo.
  • What it carries: jamaat times, the Hijri date, sehri and iftar, sunrise and sunset, the site address, the QR code and what it opens (the prayer times page, the home page or an address of your own), and The words that go with the picture with placeholders such as {title}, {date}, {hijri}, {times} and {link}.

The right-hand side shows How it will look and The words, drawn fresh each time you save. Post the banner now sends a test to one account or all of them; a test never counts as the day's banner.

Post settings

  • Schedule — Post automatically, Post every (15 minutes to a week), and Quiet from / Quiet until for hours with no posts.
  • Which ayahs — In order through the Quran (from the ayah you give under In order: start from, e.g. 36:1), At random, or From my own list (2:255, 1:1-7, 112 — posted in turn, then repeated). Skip ayahs whose translation is longer than keeps very long ayahs out of crowded pictures.
  • The post — the Translation, the Hashtags, and the Text of each post with the placeholders {arabic} {translation} {pron} {surah} {ref} {surah_number} {ayah} {link} {site} {hashtags}. Attach a picture of the ayah and Mark links for analytics are switches.

The picture's colours, background and bottom line are set under Settings → Share images. A browser draws Arabic and Bengali more beautifully than the server: press Draw pictures in this browser on that tab (the overview links to the same page as Picture renderer), choose Only the ones the auto-poster needs next, press Start and leave the page open while it works.

Post log

Every post with its time, account, ayah and result, 50 to a page. Failed shows only the failures with the network's own message; Clear empties the log. The log keeps itself to the last 2,000 rows.

Tips

  • Connect one account, press Test, open the post with view, and only then connect the rest.
  • A failure on one network never stops the others. A run where every account fails shows as a failed run in Admin → Scheduled jobs.
  • Facebook and Instagram tokens expire. When an account turns to error with an expired-token message, make a new long-lived token and paste it into Edit.
  • Once an hour is a good pace for a page; a channel with many readers can take every 30 minutes.
