Discounts & Coupons lets you run a promotion without touching the price list: an Eid offer for every dealer, a launch discount on a new model for one dealer, a one-off thank-you for sub-dealers. You create a code, decide what it takes off, who may use it, how often and until when, and apply it on the invoice. Every use is recorded against the code, so afterwards you know exactly what the campaign cost.
Switching it on
Discounts & Coupons is free and ships with the script. It is switched on after installation; you find it on Admin → Addons as Discount & Coupon Addons.
What it adds
- Admin → Discounts & Coupons in the Addons group of the sidebar, for staff with the Create & publish price lists permission.
- A Coupon code box in the Totals card of the invoice editor.
- Dealer portal → My Discounts, where dealers see the codes open to them.
- A Live coupons card on your dashboard while any code is usable today.
Its settings
Admin → Addons → Discount & Coupon Addons → Settings.

Creating a code
Admin → Discounts & Coupons → + Create a code.

Press Create the code. Your dealers get a notification at once: New discount available for a code open to a group (it goes to every dealer and sub-dealer account), or A discount just for you for a one-dealer code.
The list of codes
The four figures at the top are the number of codes, how many are live now, how many times codes have been used and the total discount given. The list shows each code's discount, who may use it, its dates (expired in red when past), how often it has been used out of how many (used up when the limit is reached) and the money it has given away.
Edit opens the code with Where it has been used underneath: the last 30 uses with the date, the dealer, the invoice and the discount. Disable and Enable switch a code off and on without losing its history. × deletes the code and its usage record together, so prefer Disable for a campaign that has ended.
Applying a code to an invoice
On Admin → Invoices, create or edit the invoice, type the code in Coupon code and save. The code is checked against the dealer on the invoice and the invoice's subtotal (the lines after their own line discounts):
- it must exist, be Active, and today must be inside its dates;
- it must not be used up, overall or for this dealer;
- the subtotal must reach the Minimum invoice;
- the dealer must be the one the code is for, or of the right kind (Dealers only or Sub-dealers only).
When it passes you see Coupon EID2026 applied — Tk … off. A percentage is worked out on the subtotal, held to the cap, and never more than the subtotal itself. The discount goes into Invoice discount, and VAT is calculated on what is left. When it fails, the invoice is still saved without the coupon, and a yellow message says why, for example That coupon has expired.
The dealer's side
Dealer portal → My Discounts lists the codes the dealer can use today: the code, what they get (10% off, up to Tk 5,000.00), the conditions (minimum order, uses per dealer), the end date with a warning in the last seven days, and Copy code. The note underneath tells them to give the code to head office with their order, because the discount is applied on your side when the invoice is made. Below that, Discounts you have had shows their recent coupon invoices and what each one saved.
Tips
- Type the code only once per invoice. Entering it again when you edit that invoice records a second use.
- A percentage code with a cap is the safest promotion: 15% off, capped at Tk 3,000 cannot be stretched by one very large order.
- Sub-dealers only needs sub-dealer accounts, which come with the Sub-Dealers addon.
