Settings, tab by tab

Admin → Settings has fifteen tabs. Save settings saves the tab you are on. A password field shows dots when something is stored; leave it empty to keep it, or tick Clear the saved …. Plugins keep their settings under Admin → Plugins, themes their options under Admin → Themes.

General

• Site name and Site description — the description goes to search engines and the RSS feed.
• Default language and Language in the address — see Languages and translations.
• Timezone — for the dates the site shows.
• Keep download history and History retention (days).
• Footer information text — empty: the translated disclaimer.

Logo & icons

How it looks previews every place; move a slider and the picture follows.

• Logo for the header · light mode — the main logo, also on the sign-in pages and in the panel. PNG with a transparent background, or SVG.
• Logo for the header · dark mode, Logo for the footer · light mode, Logo for the footer · dark mode — optional.
• Height in the header, Height in the footer, Height in the admin panel, Show the name of the site beside the logo.
• Icon (favicon) (512 × 512 PNG) and Default social share image (1200 × 630).

Appearance

• Theme, Primary colour (six presets or your own; the shades are made for you), Download button colour, background and text colours for light and dark, Font, Base font size (px), Default colour mode.
• Admin login link on the site — header, footer, both or nowhere.
• Seven Show … switches for the bands of the home page and the landing pages, such as Show "How to download" section and Show latest blog posts on the homepage.
• The blog's reader counter, see Pages, blog and menus.
• Your social network names.
• Footer credit — the line that comes with your licence. When the licence allows it, Your own footer credit (HTML) replaces it.
• Custom CSS and Custom JavaScript (with its <script> tags).

Downloads

• The results page: Hidden formats (webm,3gp), Filename suffix, Download options layout, Show "quick download" buttons, Collapse "video without sound".
• Offer "video with audio" for split streams — joins YouTube's HD video and its sound into one MP4 while downloading, without FFmpeg.
• Let the visitor's browser fetch blocked platforms, Result cache (seconds), Maximum file size (2GB; 0 = no limit).
• YouTube audio languages (dubbed sound tracks), Who may open a playlist, Videos listed of one playlist, Of these, a visitor who is not signed in gets, Pause between two downloads of a playlist (seconds).
• Sites that run the AIO Video script and Recognise AIO Video sites by themselves.
• Fast downloads (read the source in pieces) — leave it on — with Connections per download (1–16) and Size of one piece (MB) (1–10).

Users

Member accounts, Let visitors create an account, A new account has to confirm its e-mail address, the sign-up limits, and what members get: Private videos (YouTube, Facebook), playlists, audio languages, Highest video size for visitors who are not signed in, Downloads per day for a member, no countdown, no advertising. Each feature is for Everyone, Members (signed in), Members with a confirmed e-mail address, or Switched off. See Member accounts.

Monetization

Download countdown (seconds) (0 = none), Monetize download links with a URL shortener (AmarURL, bc.vc or shorte.st) with Save and make a test link, and Bandwidth saving mode: visitors take the file straight from the platform, without the joined video with sound. See Advertising.

Advertising

A table shows the six positions (Header, Above the download box, Below the download box, Results page, Countdown page, Footer), what each holds and what an ad blocker can do to it, with buttons for the demo ads. E-mail

Send notices to, Sender name, Sender address, Send through (PHP mail() or SMTP, the reliable choice), the SMTP host, port (587 with TLS, 465 with SSL), encryption, user and password, then Save and send a test e-mail.

CAPTCHA

Require CAPTCHA on the download form, CAPTCHA type (reCAPTCHA v2 checkbox or v3 invisible), Site key, Secret key, Minimum v3 score.

Quotas & Limits

Fetch requests per minute per IP, Downloads per day per IP, Bandwidth per day per IP (5GB); 0 = unlimited. Members have their own daily number under Users.

REST API

Enable public REST API, the limits of the keys you make, Who may make API keys, Keys per member, the limits of members' keys, Show the page for developers. See REST API and embed widget.

Analytics

Enable analytics, Provider (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Plausible, Umami) with its ID or host, Track downloads as events, Anonymize IP addresses, Ask for cookie consent before loading analytics.

Embed Widget

Enable embeddable widget, Widget requests per minute per visitor, Default widget theme, Show "Powered by" link. The websites allowed to use it are listed under Admin → Embed widget.

Platform Cookies

X (Twitter) cookies, Facebook cookies, Instagram cookies and YouTube cookies (age-restricted videos only). Sign in to the platform with a separate account, open the developer tools (Network tab), reload, and copy the Cookie request header here. Cookies expire: replace them when that platform stops working.

Advanced

• Admin panel path — manage-7f3a, say. Note the new address before saving; api, download, embed and blog are not allowed.
• Server user agent, Request timeout (seconds), Sitemap cache (hours), and a link to the yt-dlp page.
• External extractor API URL and key — used by the plugin External API Fallback.
• Maintenance mode and Maintenance message — visitors see the message, admins see the site. Write a message: without one the page shows only the site name.
• Cron secret and Run the scheduled tasks from page views when no cron job arrives — see Scheduled jobs.
