AIO Downloader documentation
Everything you need to install, set up and run AIO Downloader.
Getting started
1
Requirements
What the server needs before the first upload - an ordinary cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin plan is enough, a VPS gives YouTube more ways out.
2
New installation
An empty database, the package and /install.php - about five minutes from upload to a running downloader.
3
The licence key
One key per domain: where the key comes from, what each state means, the grace period and how to move to another domain.
4
The admin panel
Where everything is in the panel - dashboard, notices, content, downloads, settings - and what is worth a look on day one.
Running the downloader
5
Settings, tab by tab
The fifteen tabs of Admin → Settings: what each one holds and which fields matter most.
6
Platforms and modules
The 62 modules that read YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and the rest, the Platforms screen, landing pages, playlists and "Test a link".
7
Proxies and routes
When a platform turns the server away: the other ways out, your own proxies and the pool that finds and checks free ones.
8
YouTube and yt-dlp
How a YouTube link is read, why a server can be refused, and the yt-dlp page that installs and updates yt-dlp with one button.
Members, API and income
9
Member accounts
Free accounts for visitors: sign-up, history, features only members get, private videos with their own cookies, and the Users screen.
10
REST API and embed widget
API keys for apps and scripts (yours and your members'), the endpoints and their limits, and the download box for partner sites.
11
Advertising
Ads in six places, a countdown before the download, link shorteners, and positions that ad blockers do not sweep away.
Content and look
12
Pages, blog and menus
Pages and landing pages, blog posts with categories and tags, the built-in editor, menus, sitemap and RSS.
13
Themes and appearance
The three themes, colours and fonts, light and dark logos, the sections of the home page, and how a theme of your own is built.
14
Plugins
Switching plugins on and off, uploading a new one, free and premium plugins, and a short guide to writing your own.
15
Languages and translations
Ten languages out of the box, Bengali among them: the language in the address, translating every text in the browser, pages in every language.
Keeping it running
16
Updates and backups
One button installs a new version - backup first, then a check that the site still answers - and rollback.php for the day the panel does not open.
17
Scheduled jobs
One cron line every ten minutes runs the background work; the heartbeat keeps it going on a host without cron.
18
Troubleshooting
The problems that come up most often - a platform that stops, YouTube refusing the server, e-mail, cron, the licence - each with where to look.
Plugins
19
App Builder
An installable web app at once, plus Android and iPhone projects of your site, with a live phone preview and share-to-download.
20
yt-dlp Bridge
When a module cannot read a link, yt-dlp is asked - hundreds of extra sites, and private YouTube videos with the viewer's own cookies.
21
External API Fallback
A Cobalt-compatible service as the last resort when a built-in module fails, useful on shared hosting.
22
Recent Downloads
A "Recently downloaded" strip and an all-time counter on the home page: proof at a glance that the site is busy.
23
Nova Theme
A completely different design: floating header, split hero with a preview card, searchable platforms and a tabbed results page.
24
Midnight Theme
A darker, glassy variation of the classic layout: gradient hero with a glow, frosted cards and rounded platform chips.
25
Contact Form
A form on the Contact page, an inbox with replies by e-mail, and a spam wall that never asks for a puzzle.
26
What's New
A public page of what was added, improved and fixed, written in every language of the site, with a news bar under the header.
27
Tools
Small helpers on pages of their own; the first one joins a video and its sound in the visitor's browser, with nothing uploaded.
28
Platform Requests
Visitors ask for a site to be supported and like the requests they want too, so the most wanted one stands at the top.
29
Reviews
One to five stars and a few words from your visitors, with approval, your answers and the best ones on the home page.
