Earmould / Earshell
On this page
The Earmould / Earshell addon runs the mould lab. Impressions come in from the counter or from dealers, each order gets its own number and a printed slip with a QR code, and the order is followed from booking to delivery on a public tracking page. Nobody has to ring up to ask whether the mould is ready.
It is for a centre that makes earmoulds and custom shells, or sends impressions on to a lab and wants to keep track of them. With the Dealer Network addon, dealers and sub-dealers place their orders from the portal.
It works exactly like the Repair Lab addon: the same kind of numbers, slips, tracking page and dealer screens. Read that chapter for the parts both share. The addon used to come in two parts, a lab side and a dealer side; they are one addon now, and a key for either part unlocks it.
Switching it on
Earmould / Earshell is a premium addon, so it must be in your licence.
- Buy it from its card on Admin → Addons (Buy this addon), or on the License Center at https://license.faruk.bd. A paid order arrives by itself at the next licence check.
- If you have the key already, open License, paste it under Addon keys and press Add the key. Check now asks the License Center at once.
- Press Enable on the Earmould / Earshell Addons card.

Mould Types
The list starts with the usual types: Soft Mould, Soft Best Quality Mould, Hard Mould and Silicone Mould for earmoulds, and IIC, CIC, ITC and ITE for earshells. Each type has:
- For: Earmould or Earshell;
- Name;
- Usual price: filled in as the estimate when this type is chosen.
0means ask.
The Numbering and the slip note box on the same screen holds the Earmould prefix (default AHEM-{Y}), the Earshell prefix (default AHES-{Y}), each with the next number shown, and the Note printed on every slip. The note is shared with the repair addon: one note on every slip. Press Save.

Working on an order
Open the order from the list. As with repairs, you have Slip / token, WhatsApp, E-mail an update and Edit at the top, the Timeline with Add a note, Move it on with Update the status, the Charges box with the Outside lab details, and The customer's link.
What the public tracking page shows (the customer name, the mould type, the cost, the timeline and so on) is set once for both addons under Repair Setup in the Repair Lab. Without the repair addon, the page shows everything except the outside lab.
