Running the centre

The website

On this page

Every installation comes with a complete public website for the centre — not a fixed template, but pages, bands and records you edit from the panel under the Website heading. Patients book, register, read their reports, shop and chat there; you never need a separate website.

The home page

Website → Home Page lists the bands (sections) of the front page from top to bottom. Each row can be edited, hidden or deleted, and Position decides the order (lower numbers sit higher on the page; Save the order after changing them). Add a section offers every kind of band:

Every band has a Heading, a Small label above the heading, its Text, an optional Picture and its own settings. Addons add bands of their own (for example Latest articles from the Blog addon) — a band whose addon is switched off is kept but not shown.

Pages, menus and the slider

  • Pages — About Us, Contact Us, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and any page you add. Each has a Page title, Sub-title, Banner picture, Content (a rich text editor), a Template, and Search engines & sharing fields (Meta title, Meta description, Meta keywords, Sharing picture, Ask search engines to skip this page).
  • Menus — the main menu, the footer menu and the Top Bar strip. An entry can point to a page, a fixed route (Services, Hearing Aids, Book…), an addon's page or any address; it can sit Under another entry to make a drop-down, open in a new tab and be shown as a button. In the Top Bar, Where in the strip puts it on the left, in the middle or on the right.
  • Slider — each slide has a Background picture, Heading, Sub-heading, two buttons, Text alignment and a Dark overlay (%) that keeps white text readable on a bright picture.

Enquiries and subscribers

  • Enquiries — every message sent through the contact form lands in this inbox with the sender's details and the page they came from. Open one, write Your reply and press Send the reply; it goes out by e-mail and the enquiry is marked as replied. The sidebar counter shows unread ones.
  • Subscribers — everyone who signed up for news, with Add somebody for people who asked at the counter. Newsletters are sent from Communication → Newsletter (see Communication).

Website Settings

Website → Website Settings holds what the whole site shares:

  • Where people can find you — Business name, Tagline, Address, Phone, WhatsApp number, Country dialling code, E-mail, Opening hours, In business since (year), Map embed code.
  • The footer — the Footer paragraph and the three parts of the bottom bar: On the left, In the middle, On the right.
  • Switches — Show the top bar, Show a price list page, Show the floating WhatsApp button, Show prices on the public catalogue, Clean web addresses (with a Test clean addresses button).
  • Patient accounts — Let visitors register on the website, Give them an account page, Confirm the e-mail address first.
  • Review links — Google review link, Facebook review link, Anywhere else, and What to say when you ask; used under the testimonials and in thank-you messages.
  • Search engines — Default meta description, Default meta keywords, Default sharing picture, Default banner picture.
  • Code — Before </head> and Before </body> for Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or a verification tag.

Colours, logo and favicon are on the Theme screen (see Settings).

Website → Permalinks & Redirects shows Every address on the site — the fixed routes, your own pages and the addon pages — and lets you change the words in them (for example /hearing-aids instead of /products). Under Redirects, send an old address to a new one: From, To, the kind of redirect and a note. Use it after moving from an old website so that links in Google and on Facebook keep working.

What patients can do on the site

With the right addons switched on, a visitor can book a test (Appointments), register and see their own file (Patient & Customer Management), read their test reports (Online Lab Reports), buy batteries and accessories (E-Commerce & POS), track a repair (Hearing Aid Repair), check that a hearing aid is genuine (Product Verification), read articles (Blog) and chat (AI Live Chat).
